"My father sat me down on the back steps of
our home with a pocket knife and a forked tree branch, taught me to
whittle sling shot stocks and rubber guns for the neighborhood boys
when I was nine. I have been training with knife and limb ever
since."
Nancy Lou's formal education took place at the
Mississippi State College for Women,
University of Mississippi and the Goddard Museum of
Fine Arts of New Mexico.
